Engine 2 is a 1980 American LaFrance Engine Custom Chassis. The engine was purchase in 2005 from East Islip FD, which is in New York. The truck has a 750 gallon tank and a 1750 gpm midship pump.
Engine 4
Engine 4 is a 2006 Pierce Engine on an International Commercial Chassis. This engine was purchased in 2006 with funds from the FEMA AFG Grant. The truck has a 1000 gallon tank and a 1250 gpm top-mount pump.
Squad 1
Squad 1 is a 1991 Ford F-350 Service Truck. The truck is used for First Response and Service duties.
Squad 2
Squad 2 is a 2007 Ford F-350 4x4 Brush Truck. The truck was purchased in 2006 by the Town of Cherokee for use by the CVFF. The truck has a skid unit mounted with a 300 gallon tank and pressure pump.
Our department has the priviledge of owning TWO sets of Extrication Tools and a set of Air Bags. Due to the large amount of Highway 72 that we cover in our primary Fire District, we respond to many accidents with entrapment.
